Lynn is a Peruvian American adoptee as well as a parent by birth and adoption.  She has published multiple essays about the adoption experience on-line and in various adoption anthologies.  

In 2015, she created and self-published The Adoptee Survival Guide:  Adoptees Share Their Wisdom and Tools and began speaking in the adoption community.   Using genetic genealogy, and fishing in all ponds, she was able to identify her paternal ancestry and now helps other adoptees do the same.

In 2022, she published her memoir, "Hidden Identity" as a podcast at The Adoption Experience.

Lynn and her husband, Mark, live in Dayton, Ohio with their daughter and two spoiled mini-Australian shepherds.
